What these houses are bottling this century, in stock, in the tens, and meant to be opened

The other end of the same cellar
Every bottle on this page comes from a house that also has lots in the vault. Cnoc Dubh distils on an island whose other stills were silent for twenty years. Cheonggang makes grain soju that was illegal to produce for the thirty four years between 1965 and 1999. Fenwick works in a category that did not exist in England between the wars and 2006.
The difference is the price. A vault lot is one bottle with a paper trail and four figures against it. These are current production, in stock, in the tens, and meant to be opened. If you want to know what a shelf tastes like before spending on its rarities, start here. The small amount of equipment that actually changes how any of it tastes is on Accessories.
