One problem each
None of this is a vessel and none of it is decoration. A cork that has spent forty years in a damp cellar will not come out whole, a crust that has spent the same forty years settling can be ruined in ten seconds, and an Old Fashioned made with a teaspoon is a different and worse drink. Each piece here solves one of those problems and nothing else, which is the whole test for being on this page. Everything below is made now, in Sheffield, by one maker.

English pewter
Flasks, tankards and tumblers by the English Pewter Company of Sheffield. Made now, not found, and the only things on this page you can have engraved.
Pewter takes the temperature of whatever is in it and holds it, which is why a tankard of it drinks colder than a glass and why a flask of it warms in a coat pocket instead of against your ribs. It also marks, dents and dulls, and every one of those marks stays. A flask that has been carried for thirty years looks like it, which is the opposite of what most gifts do.
These are the maker's own photographs and the maker's own titles, set on paper rather than on our ground so it is clear which pictures are ours and which are theirs. Every piece links to its page at the maker, so the description, the price and the photograph can be checked against each other before you order.

A decanter is not for keeping spirit in, whatever it looks like it is for. Whisky in an unsealed decanter loses strength and turns flat over months, and sunlight takes the colour out of it faster than that. Fill one the day you intend to drink from it, put it somewhere out of the light, and it will do exactly the job it is good at, which is pouring cleanly and looking like something.
